The most common causes and fixes
1. Name mismatch
Profile says "Sharma Electricals Best Electrician Satellite" but the board says "Sharma Electricals". Fix: edit to the exact real-world name (name rules).
2. Missing or temporary signage
A printed paper or vinyl banner, or no sign at all. Fix: install permanent signage with the business name before retrying (signboard tips).
3. Video lacked location context
Started indoors with no street or landmark. Fix: start outside with a street sign or landmark, then walk in (video checklist).
4. No proof of management
Just a walkthrough. Fix: show unlocking the shop, billing system, documents, tools.
5. Wrong address or pin
Pin in the middle of a road or campus; incomplete address. Fix: correct address with shop number and PIN; pin at entrance (fix pin, Plus Codes).
6. Ineligible location
Virtual office, mailbox, co-working without staffed presence, online-only business, temporary pop-up. Fix: use a genuinely staffed location or become a service-area business if you visit customers (eligibility, co-working, pop-ups).
7. Duplicate listing
Another listing for the same business exists. Fix: claim or remove the duplicate (duplicates).
8. Too many recent edits
Name, category and address changed together. Fix: stop editing; wait a few days (edits pending).
9. Category raises extra checks
